😮There is a single nut no washer holding that clamp to the frame. Remove the nut - SIZE METRIC 13 - and the clamp will pop off the fame so you can move the filter around to free it from the lines. Once off the lines pull the filter from the clamp and reverse the process with the new filter. The little nut is easy to get to and is right on the other side of the frame mid-way from the bottom to the top. MarkMannM2

You do not have to relive fuel prssure at the fuel rails at all, because the fuel pressure is in front of the pressure regulator on you left fuel rail and fuel between that and the fuel tank has no pressure at all. This a a practice in where I see people turn off the fuel pump and run the engine to it runs out of fuel rail fuel and all this nonsense when no pressure exist at all at the fuel filter at all

In 1969 I worked for the Norfolk & Western railroad out of Moberly, Missouri on an “extra tie gang” we took out old ties & put in new ones. we had 5 machines & 28 laborers/gandy dancers with tie tongs, tamping bars, claw bars, picks/shovels, rail tongs, lining bar & other tools. And if our spiking machine messed up, this is exactly the way we corrected it just like in this video, spiking by hand, no fancy robot machines, just good old manpower, watching this almost made me tear up, because this is what I did on the railroad crew 53 years ago; we worked 10 hours a day, 5 days a week for a measly $150.00 a week, but hey, in 1969 that was good money, it was good to see this & to prove machines can’t replace ALL the jobs. Ya need more videos like this for us old fart Gandy Dancers! 😁✌️👍

It's the fifth one I've watched as I'm looking for a little clarity on one point - you nailed it. Your truck looks exactly like the one I have sitting out there. I don't know if it's working dumb... but me and the gang I work with just worry about getting the ties in and then we deal with the gauge. For a gang of 6 well never change out big areas of ties we always just spot them In. Which is why we don't give a shit about gauge until the end

This helped me. I bought the metal tool and it worked much better. Except for the front side there wasn’t room for the tool. After watching this video I realized that the previous owner used a plastic tool like the gentleman here used, but on my truck they just left it on after changing the filter.😄
